Big B & Dirtball Team Up For Jagermeister Born For Battle Tour Featuring Potluck & DGAFTwo of the Underground's rising stars, Big B and Dirtball, will unite for this year's Jagermeister "Born For Battle" Tour featuring Humboldt County's Potluck, DGAF and other surprise guests on select dates. The tour will kicks off May 9th in Tempe, AZ and runs through June 7th in Hollywood, CA with inexpensive ticket prices along with tons of giveaways from Jagermeister at each stop on the tour. "This tour is a big deal to me, as it shows that hard work really does pays off. The Dirtball and I have been on the road for the last four years almost non-stop. We have been very fortunate enough to get to tour with a lot of great groups, but now we are ready to hit the road on our own and put on a top notch show," says Las Vegas based Big B. "With our labelmates Potluck and DGAF rounding off the lineup this is sure to be a true SubNoize party." The tour announcement comes as Las Vegas heavyweight Big B is enjoying the biggest success of his career with his third album, "More To Hate". The album debuted at #17 on the Billboard Heatseekers chart and features guest appearances by Cypress Hill's Sen Dog, Tech N9ne and Blaze Ya Dead Homie. The album's debut single "White Trash Life" quickly became one of Sirius Satelitte Radio's FACTION channel's most requested tracks and a fan favorite of on air host Jason Ellis. The album also landed him critical acclaim from the likes of Murder Dog Magazine who proclaimed with "More To Hate" Big B "steps up to the plate and hits a grand slam, his best album to date," and Ballerstatus.net said "Big B's current sound has a bluesy feel akin to Whitey Ford, and shows a welcome growth and depth." Oregon's king of rapid-fire rhyme The Dirtball is gearing up for the May 13th, 2008 release of his new album, "Crook County". Dirtball's ear for creating infectious rhymes gives the album a versatility that stretches through a variety of styles from Southern fried hip-hop, blazed out rock beats to grimy battle raps in his most musically ambitious album to date. Featuring guest appearances by Kottonmouth Kings, CeeKay and Psychopathic Records' own Boondox, "Crook County" will make listeners think twice about the capabilities of white rappers. "I'm definitely stoked to be dipping back into familiar venues around the country. It's gonna be a beat banging party session out there for this one," says Dirtball about his first headlining tour. "The line-up is solid, the markets we are playing are super familiar and the crowds equally as dope! At this point, we just want it to crack off and start already." |
